Tracking with Steve White

In this video Steve White will teaches multiple methods for tracking, article identification and scent discrimination, with lecture, video, Powerpoint presentation and practical work and demonstrations. The class works with their dogs using the lessons learned in the lecture. A hands-on seminar with lots of outdoor tracking experience. The focus is on getting the dog ready to pass the VST tracking program.

Half of Steve White's 28-year law enforcement career has been in K-9. He was handler and trainer for one of the largest police K-9 units in Washington State. Accredited as a Master Trainer in 1993, by the Washington State Police Canine Assoc. He is also a past executive board member of that body. He serves as VP of the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers and has been an instructor for the K9 Academy of Law. Steve specializes in teaching behavior modification, tracking, and scent work through the use of positive reinforcement based operant conditioning.
